Two teens in a car increases the likelihood of a crash by 86%, three teens by 182%, according to research conducted by Johns Hopkins University.

 

 

Each year thousands of teen drivers are involved in serious & fatal car crashes while talking or text messaging on a phone while driving.

Among teens aged 16-19 involved in fatal crashes, 21% were using a cell phone.

Speeding

 

In 2005, 38 percent of fatal crashes with 15 to 20-year-old males at the wheel involved speeding.
