The Drive & Ride Safe public service announcement contest goal is to educate teens on this issue.  By participating in this contest teens can help address this problem.

Two teens in a car increases the likelihood of a crash by 86%, three teens by 182%, according to research conducted by Johns Hopkins University.

 

 

Speeding

 

In 2005, 38 percent of fatal crashes with 15 to 20-year-old males at the wheel involved speeding.
