About the Contest:
The goal of the contest is to create a short video limited to 25 seconds or less which focus on the topic of safe driving for teens.
The winner of the contest will receive a $500 cash award and their video will be featured on WHOI TV. Contestants will upload their videos to YouTube™ and include the link with their online entry form.
Who Can Enter the Contest:
The contest is open to all teenagers. Entries may be submitted by an individual or submitted as a team or group. Only one entry allowed per individual or team.
Teen Public Service Announcement Judging Criteria:
All contestants are encouraged to review the “Teen Driver Resources” on this site to conduct research on the topic of Teen Driving. This information will provide you excellent information and insight to incorporate into your video.
The time limit for videos is 25 seconds. This is a technical requirement for TV broadcast purposes.
The video judged to be the most effective in delivering a message that promotes and educate the general public on the topic of Safe Teen Driving will be selected as the winning entry.
How to Enter the Contest
To submit a video into the contest complete the online entry form. You will need to upload your video to YouTube™ and include the link on the entry form.
Contest Deadline - September 30, 2008
*Note: The winner will need to provide a DVD of their video for broadcast. YouTube™ is only being utilized for contest entry.
